Plan Your Visit

  • The cemetery is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please use the pedestrian gate on Washington Avenue, to the right of the main gate.
  • Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. Dog waste must be removed immediately.
  • Only fresh flowers are allowed April through October. No glass or breakable containers. No wire which could cause damage to lawn-care equipment. The LMA asks that those who decorate graves also return to remove the same. Any ornamentation in violation of these regulations is subject to removal without notice.
  • Toys, stuffed animals, solar decorative lights, candles, flags or other objects are not permitted as grave decorations.
  • The cleaning of stones is prohibited without permission (this does not apply to an owner cleaning within their own lot). Grave rubbings are forbidden. Nothing should be applied to any gravestone.
  • No motor vehicle shall be driven off the main roadways.
  • Individuals or groups wanting to use the grounds must have written permission from the Ladies Memorial Association and include proof of liability insurance.
  • State regulations pertaining to cemeteries must be adhered to at all times. Children must be supervised at all times. No running, climbing or any activity that in any way may risk damage to headstones or themselves. Grounds are uneven.
